Meet the Doctors

Dr. Robert Bigbie

Dr. Bigbie incurred many football injuries over the years, one of which caused him to be almost completely bent over at a 90 degree angle. The pain in his back was so bad it felt like he was being stabbed with a knife in his back when he would try to straighten up. Tired of taking medications that were simply covering up the problem, and not wanting the recommended surgery, Dr. Bigbie searched for an alternative. One afternoon a classmate of his recommended that he see a chiropractor and six months after he started care, Dr. Bigbie was 100% pain free. He continued getting his spine checked by the chiropractor and over the course of three years, the migraine headaches, allergies, and severe eczema that plagued Dr. Bigbie his entire life, had completely resided. Dr. Bigbie knew right away that he wanted to be a doctor of chiropractic.

Chiropractors treat the underlying cause of sickness and disease without using drugs and surgery because perfect structure equals perfect function. Dr. Bigbie knows that the power that made the body heals the body. He gives 100% of his faith to this principle and teaches his patients to trust this and let go of the fallacy that sickness and disease can be healed with a potion, lotion, or pill. Chiropractor's recognize that the body heals from within, not by outside in.

While in Chiropractic college Dr. Bigbie was fortunate enough to study under some of the greatest Chiropractors in history. Dr. Bigbie has taken literally thousands of hours of post-graduate studies and has accumulated over 28 years of clinical experience; combine these and it's easy to say that he has extensive knowledge of the human body and of health. Dr. Bigbie has traveled all over the country gaining experience and he brings his wisdom right here to Lexington, SC. To this day, his passion, knowledge and energy, draws patients who travel hundreds of miles from neighboring states to be under his care.

Dr. Bigbie spreads his passion for Chiropractic throughout his community. He has served on many boards and is a founding member of the World Children's Wellness Association, helping spread Chiropractic care to children around the world. For his commitment to healing, Dr. Bigbie has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award in the states of both South Carolina and New York.

Dr. Jason Mubarak

Dr. Mubarak always wanted to help people; his goal was to become a medical doctor. When he was 20 years old, he was moving a desk and developed severe back pain and right sciatic pain. After medical care was unsuccessful, he decided to try Chiropractic care. After receiving Chiropractic care he began feeling amazing; his back and sciatic leg pain no longer bothered him. In addition, Dr. Mubarak had suffered for years with chronic sinus congestion, however under Chiropractic care he had for the first time in years, 100% resolution of his sinus problems.

These two experiences changed his life forever. Dr. Mubarak knew without a doubt, this was the answer to helping people. Instead of just treating the symptoms of disease with medication and/or surgery he realized that the answer lied in locating and treating the underlying cause which is spinal misalignment, or vertebral subluxation. Dr. Mubarak decided to become a doctor of Chiropractic so he could help people like he had been helped without risky drugs and surgery.

Dr. Mubarak graduated from Lexington High School in 1995. He then graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1999 and Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 2002. After graduation Dr. Mubarak returned to his home town and started practicing his passion, Chiropractic. In Chiropractic school Dr. Mubarak was president of the Gonstead Study Club-during which time he helped to further the advancement of specific scientific Chiropractic adjusting. He went on to study under some of the best instructors of the Gonstead technique and has since spent thousands of hours perfecting the technique which is one of the best Chiropractic adjusting techniques of all time.

Amongst other studies, Dr. Mubarak has been certified in the analysis and adjustment of infants. He has additional training in extremity analysis and adjusting, therapeutic modalities, non-surgical spinal decompression treatment, radiographic and MRI analysis. Dr. Mubarak is dedicated to helping people receive optimal health through Chiropractic care. He speaks at local community groups, churches, schools and different occupational places.

Dr. Angela Wibert

As a child Dr. Wibert's life goal was to become a doctor of obstetrics and pediatrics. Growing up she became fascinated with the power within the human body to heal, regenerate, and create life. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be an authority in health and healing; teaching people who were sick how to be well and stay well by abiding by nature's and God's laws of life. One afternoon while doing rounds in the emergency room of a hospital, she realized that allopathic "modern" medicine did not resonate with her core values. It seemed unfortunately, that most medical doctors were dictated by insurance companies, hospital policies, and other institutions that influenced their motivation. She also, far to quickly found herself being forced to care less and less about the individual needs of the patients and more about the bottom line. At once she handed her "white coat' to another fellow, walked out of the hospital, took a deep breath, and began searching for the occupation that could fulfill her life long desire to serve people in health. God had intervened.

After hours of research that same day, she found Chiropractic. Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that emphasizes proper function of the body through proper structure of the spine. When a vertebra misaligns and puts pressure on a spinal nerve, the organs that that nerve serves will become sick and dis-eased. By diagnosing, treating, and preventing misalignments of the spine the body is able to express its innate intelligence at 100% thus maintaining perfect health.

She realized right then that her life mission had always been Chiropractic. Dr. Wibert’s motto for her life is to serve God by serving man through the vehicle of Chiropractic.

Dr. Wibert graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2007. During her college studies she had the unique opportunity to learn under some of the most principled chiropractors in her profession. Dr. Wibert was a passionate student and helped grow and start new clubs on campus including On Purpose club, Get the Big Idea club, and Student International Chiropractic Association.

Since her graduation in 2007 Dr. Wibert still has a passion and desire to learn more and more about the human body so that she can pass this vital information on to her patients. She has attended many seminars including extensive x-ray analysis in vertebral misalignments, MRI and CT analysis, neurological dynamics, Chiropractic for babies and children, geriatrics, and even Chiropractic for animals!
Dr. Wibert continues to this day to be a member of the International Chiropractic Association and has a strong commitment to serving her community.
